Large Terraced Garden
Our Brief
To transform a large sloping lawn into a flat family garden with extensive sitting space, lawn for children to play and attractive hedges with summer flowers.

What we did...
Initially we designed and built an extensive curved stone retaining wall the full length of the garden to create the biggest flat area we could with elaborate steps which became an attractive feature of the garden. After infilling with 300 tonnes of soil we then designed the garden with a large patio, colourful low maintenance flowerbeds and also a large hard wearing lawn.
The Perfect Garden
The customer now has a level garden where they can relax on the patio in full sun and watch the children play on the lawn with lots of colourful flowers in the low maintenance flower borders. There is a circular walk around the garden with easy access to all levels. The work has added value to the property and made the garden much more usable.
