Our Brief
To build a driveway for ample parking that would complement a 17th century stone house set in a rural position. To build a retaining wall and steps with surrounding planting scheme.

What we did...
We chose stone setts for the drive with York stone flags for the paths, also drystone walling for the walls to compliment the house and its surrounding drystone walls. The drive was built for ample parking and easy turning with good access to the house and garden. Grand circular steps were built to give access to the lawn and flowerbeds, outdoor lighting was also incorporated to show off the stone wall at night.
The Perfect Garden
The driveway is now an attractive feature within the garden that compliments and frames the house adding value to the property and making parking and turning so much easier. Access to the garden is now much more welcoming and the lighting brings the garden to life at night.
